The Lac de Chasteaux , known as " du Causse " is located 19km from the Domaine, via the hilly road of Cosnac and Noailles.
Covering an area of 90 hectares, it offers a nice 2-hour walk to go around it, counting small contemplative breaks and an aperitif reward on arrival at the friendly Bar du chemin or at the Guinguette at Fleur d'Eau , opposite the water and fishing house.
For the more athletic, a nautical base enhances the joys of swimming on the sandy beaches of the lake. Playgrounds for children and many picnic tables are available for walkers. This little paradise hosts many festive events during the summer.
Hush, in 2024 it will also host the training of athletes from all countries for the Olympic nautical disciplines.
